Located in the quiet seaside town of Criel-sur-Mer, on the Cote D'Albatre, between Dieppe and Le Treport, the chalet is just a short walk from the beach.

Superbly equipped with family comfort in mind, the chalet is warm, welcoming and very homely. There is a real open fire and logs are included in the rental. There are electric radiators and the chalet has double glazed doors and windows.

For your entertainment there is a satellite TV with stations in French, English and many other languages, as well as Disney and movie channels. There is an IPod player /charger,  dvd player, ,with a slection of dvds music cds, radio, books and games. There is also free internet access. There is also a Sony PS2 Play station in the children's room.

The French doors from the living room open onto the front terrace, from where you can see and hear the sea and watch the local fishermen at work - and whilst you relax the enclosed garden is plenty large enough for the children to play safely.

The kitchen is well equipped with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washer / drier, kettle, toaster and coffee machine and much more!  The wood burning stove can be seen through the open back door.

There is a barbecue which can be used on the terrace – perfect for the lazy evenings spent watching the sunset over the sea and sampling the local liquid delights, whilst dining al fresco. The sunsets are magnificent!

In fact you can even enjoy watching the sun setting over the sea from the comfort of the chalet as you look out of the living room window!

There are two bedrooms, one with a small double bed (4ft /1.2m) and one with two single bunk beds (3ft6" / 90cm). There is also a double sofa bed (4ft 1.2m) in the front room. All of the beds are of a high quality with a good mattress and a quilt.

In the children's bedroom there is a TV and a SONY Play Station (PS2)  - it plays both English and French games and DVDs so you can bring the favourite DVDs and games from the UK. We have a baby cot if you need one as well as a bed bar for small children to sleep in the bed.

The compact bathroom has a toilet, wash basin and best of  - a shower heated by a hot water cylinder.

The shower is heated from a hot water cylinder and so you don't run the risk of running out of bottled gas nor are you restricted to showers only at certain times due to economy seven heatitng! The shower cubicle is 70 x 70 and so if you are very large, access might be difficult as the door is on the corner of the shower

The garden is large, laid to lawn and self-contained, and once you’ve driven your car inside the gates you can lock them to keep your children safe and sound.

There are two terraces – one on the front of the chalet and one on the back, so you can catch the morning and the evening sun. In the “dependance” you’ll find 2 adult sized bikes, 2 children’s bikes, badminton and table tennis rackets, and a selection of games and toys.

Criel is a great place to get away from it all - the views are just great

There is a restaurant, shop and Bar/Tabac with a "depot de pain" in walking distance and in the town of Criel there are plenty of local shops, including a supermarket and 10 minutes away is a large hypermarket, handy for stocking up before the trip home.
